Production Planner

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Planner to join a successful FMCG business and play a key role within their Supply Chain team.

You will be responsible for creating and maintaining effective daily production plans, balancing customer demand, forecasts, line rates and labour availability to maximise productivity and service levels.

You'll work closely with Production, Supply Chain and customers to ensure raw materials and packaging are available, while supporting new product launches, promotional activity and peak-period planning.

The role will also involve maintaining accurate ERP data, analysing planning information and producing KPI and capacity reports to support the wider S&OP process.

The ideal candidate will have previous Production Planning experience within FMCG or manufacturing , with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and experience using an ERP system.

Excellent Excel and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to build strong relationships across different departments and with customers.

Ideal Candidate Experience in Production Planning, Supply Chain Planning or a similar role within FMCG.

Strong understanding of forecasting, production scheduling and capacity planning.

Experience using an ERP/planning system.

Excellent Excel, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Proactive approach to continuous improvement and achieving high service levels.
