Our focus is to continually improve patients’ experiences and outcomes and you will be supported by a friendly, committed multi‑disciplinary team of staff striving to ensure the delivery of excellence in all aspects of patient care. We work between two sites within the hospital, having expanded the department following the build of The Endeavour Unit, an award‑winning state of the art radiotherapy facility. The department is currently equipped with 6 Elekta Agility machines with IGRT/IMRT capability, which provides scope for our expanding technological and professional development including DIBH with SGRT, stereoscopic 2D imaging, stereotactic body radiotherapy, VMAT treatment delivery and flattening‑filter free technology.

Main duties of the job

We are a forward‑thinking department and support radiographers in their clinical development to advanced practitioner level and we have Advanced Clinical Practitioners and a Consultant Radiographer. Our radiographers are fully involved in the MDT approach to developments within the department. Ongoing professional development is supported and encouraged. Successful applicants will be highly motivated and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and will be based on the treatment floor.
