About the role

You'll work on real HR and people operations projects across the whole group, supporting recruitment, onboarding, people administration, and the day to day work that keeps a fast moving organization running.

This is hands-on people operations work. You'll be expected to support hiring and screening, keep people records organized, help onboard new team members, and handle the administrative side of people operations reliably.

Our group has spent thirty years building companies across New York, London, and Tokyo. Today, our teams operate from a 4,000 sqm campus in Canggu, Bali. Across the group, we have raised and deployed more than $150M and operate portfolio companies across energy, bioproduction, and AI infrastructure.

Where you work

HR is not tied to one project or one company. You sit across the entire group and work with all teams and all employees, from new interns to the people running the companies. Every portfolio company, every function, one team supporting all of them.

Your HR work may include:

  • Supporting recruitment, including posting roles, screening applications, and coordinating interviews across multiple teams
  • Supporting onboarding for new interns and team members, from documentation to first week setup
  • Maintaining people records, files, and internal documentation accurately
  • Assisting with internship agreements, visa documentation, and compliance paperwork
  • Coordinating schedules, meetings, and communication across teams
  • Helping run feedback and review processes, including tracking progress
  • Supporting day to day people operations across the entire group

The focus is not on academic exercises. You will work on HR connected to real companies, real people, and real operational challenges.

We're looking for candidates who:

  • Have completed or are close to completing a university degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Psychology, Business Management, or a closely related field
  • Have a solid understanding of recruitment, people operations, or organizational administration
  • Have hands-on experience with communication, documentation, and coordination through university projects, internships, or personal projects
  • Have experience working with spreadsheets, documents, and standard office tools
  • Can work independently, learn quickly, and solve practical operational problems
  • Are able to work fully on-site in Bali for 4-6 months

This internship can also be completed as part of a university internship requirement.

We don't expect you to already know our internal processes, but you should have a strong people and organizational foundation and careful attention to detail.

What we provide:

  • 4-6 month internship in Bali, Indonesia
  • Hands-on experience in real recruitment and people operations across a portfolio of companies
  • On-campus rooms available at competitive rates
  • Assistance with the internship visa process
  • Daily lunch included
  • Opportunity for exceptional interns to be considered for future roles or continued collaboration with the group

Important:

This is an unpaid internship.
The position is fully on-site in Bali, Indonesia.
There is no remote or hybrid option.
