Youth Music Intern (Freelance)

2 days per week (14 hours) | September 2026 – March 2027 | Based at CatStrand, New Galloway

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Youth Music Intern (aged under 25 – funding requirement) to join the CatStrand Creatives team and help deliver our AMPLIFY D&G and Young Music Makers programmes.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in music, youth arts or community arts to gain hands‑on experience supporting workshops, live performances, music tuition, creative projects and events across Dumfries & Galloway. You’ll work alongside artists, tutors and young people, helping to create inspiring and inclusive opportunities for the next generation of musicians.

Rate: £13.45 per hour

Hours: 14 hours per week (2 days, with occasional evenings and weekends)

Contract: Freelance, 1 September 2026 – 31 March 2027

Location: CatStrand, New Galloway
