The Burford Recruitment Company are working in partnership with an established provider of luxury self-catering stays to recruit a passionate and driven Sales Manager. With a collection of distinctive properties in beautiful locations, our client offers memorable stays in exceptional surroundings.

This is a hands-on opportunity to lead a sales team, grow bookings and deliver a personalised service to discerning guests. You’ll have scope to develop your team, improve processes and help customers find the perfect setting for their next escape.

The role

* Lead, motivate and coach the sales team to achieve revenue and booking targets.

* Improve conversion rates, identify growth opportunities and encourage repeat bookings.

* Guide guests from their initial enquiry through to a confirmed reservation, providing thoughtful recommendations and attentive service.

* Monitor performance and introduce improvements to sales processes and the guest booking experience.

* Collaborate with the marketing team, sharing customer insights and supporting campaigns.

About you

You’ll bring experience in sales management or team leadership, with a track record of achieving targets and developing others. Commercially aware, organised and proactive, you’ll be equally comfortable coaching colleagues, reviewing sales figures and personally assisting guests.

An understanding of premium service and strong relationship-building skills are essential. Experience within luxury travel, boutique hospitality or a similarly service-led environment would be particularly relevant.

* £38,000 basic salary, with OTE of £42,300 through on-call support payments and sales commission.

* Discretionary bonus where applicable.

* 9am–5.30pm, with an hour for lunch

* Saturday working on a rota basis, with time off in lieu.

* Flexibility to support the team during busy periods
