Hygiene Team Leader (Nights) Food Manufacturing Wigan £34,985 + bonus Nights - 10pm to 6am Jelly Technical is recruiting on behalf of a leading food manufacturer for a Night Hygiene Team Leader to join a fast-paced production site within a well-established and growing business, supplying major UK retailers. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Hygiene Team Leader to join a business that values high standards, team development and continuous improvement. As Hygiene Team Leader your key responsibilities include: Coordinate the Night Hygiene Team to ensure all cleaning schedules are completed to required standards. Perform area checks at the start and end of each shift to ensure company standards are being met. Ensure compliance with food safety standards including HACCP, COSHH and internal quality procedures. Ensure all paperwork have been completed and meet expected standards. Work with engineering to support maintenance and minimise disruption to hygiene schedules. Identify areas of improvement and work with the Hygiene Manager to implement. Ensure the team are using chemicals correctly & safely. Monitor stock levels, reporting to the manager to ensure timely re-stocking. Support the onboarding of new team members and drive team performance using positive coaching tools. Deputise for the Night Hygiene Manager in their absence. What You'll Bring: Experience within a food manufacturing environment. Proven experience supervising hygiene teams (stand in / deputising experience will be considered). Knowledge of HACCP and COSHH Relevant qualifications food safety qualifications are desirable.
