Grove Motorsport is looking for a highly experienced Race Car Technician to join our team, working on historic competition cars at the very highest level.


This is a rare opportunity to work with a genuinely winning team, with proven success across the UK and Europe, as well as at the iconic Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, in state-of-the-art workshop facilities based in Stoneleigh, Warwickshire.


The Role


You'll be responsible for the preparation and restoration of historic race cars to exceptionally high standards, ensuring every car that leaves our workshop is race-ready, immaculately finished, and built to compete at the front of the field.


You will:


  • Prepare historic competition cars for racing and hill climb events to the highest possible standard
  • Carry out full restorations, from strip-down through to finished, race-ready vehicles
  • Work to exacting standards of fit, finish, and mechanical integrity, nothing leaves our workshop unless it's right
  • Collaborate closely with the wider team to support our race and event programme, both in the UK and internationally
  • Take pride and ownership in the quality of your work and the reputation of the cars you prepare

About You


  • Highly experienced in the preparation and restoration of historic or competition race cars
  • A meticulous, high standards approach to your craft, this is not a role for cutting corners
  • Strong all-round mechanical and fabrication skills
  • Comfortable working as part of a close-knit, high-performing team
  • Willing to travel to support events as required xwzovoh
  • Genuine passion for motorsport and historic racing

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience 


Type: Full-time (May consider part time for the right applicant)
