Key Responsibilities: Academic Intervention: Work with small groups or on a 1:1 basis to break down complex tasks in core subjects (English, Maths, and Science), keeping students on track with their learning objectives. What We Are Looking For Experience: Previous experience working with children or teenagers aged 11-16 (this could be in a mainstream school, tutoring, coaching, youth clubs, or care settings). Qualifications: A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is highly desirable, but a strong academic background or graduate degree with a passion for education is equally welcome. Character: An adaptable, reliable, and patient professional with excellent communication skills and a good sense of humour. You must have the ability to build quick, trusted rapport with secondary students. Vetting: Must hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service.
