This role would suit someone with a construction-related qualification who is looking to build a long-term career in quantity surveying. Responsibilities

Assisting with measurement and valuation of works Supporting cost planning and budget management Procuring subcontractors and suppliers Preparing purchase orders and subcontract documentation Assisting with subcontractor payments and account management Monitoring project costs and reporting on commercial performance Supporting valuations, variations and final accounts Maintaining accurate commercial records and project documentation Attending site visits and project meetings Requirements Construction-related qualification (Degree, HNC, HND, NVQ or equivalent) Suitable for a Trainee QS looking for the next step or an existing Assistant Quantity Surveyor Good understanding of construction and commercial processes Strong numerical and analytical skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel Organised with excellent attention to detail Positive attitude and willingness to learn Keen to develop a long-term career within quantity surveying This is an excellent opportunity to join a company where people are valued, supported and given the opportunity to progress their careers within a successful and growing construction business.
