Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

We’re Hiring: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Hospital Environment 🔧 🚨 📍Central London 💷 £45,000 + Benefits 🕒 Monday to Friday | 08:00 – 17:00 We’re looking for two experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineers 🔧 to join a leading UK Facilities Management company on a prestigious hospital site in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a critical healthcare environment, supporting essential mechanical systems that ensure safe and efficient hospital operations. 🔧 What you’ll be doing: ✔️ Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive mechanical maintenance ✔️ Maintaining, repairing, and fault-finding on mechanical plant and building services systems 🔧 ✔️ Working on pumps, motors, AHUs, FCUs, pipework, valves, and HVAC systems ✔️ Responding to breakdowns quickly and efficiently to minimise disruption ✔️ Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety and statutory regulations ✔️ Completing maintenance reports and documentation accurately ✔️ Liaising with the engineering team and client representatives 👷 What we’re looking for: • NVQ / City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical, Plumbing, HVAC or equivalent • Proven experience within facilities management or commercial maintenance 🔧 • Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills • Experience in critical environments (desirable) • Good communication skills and professional approach ⭐ Desirable: • Hospital or healthcare maintenance experience • AP/CP knowledge • Multi-skilled experience 💼 What’s on offer: 💷 £45,000 annual salary 🕒 Monday–Friday day shifts (8am–5pm) ⏱️ Overtime opportunities 🏦 Company pension 🌴 Holiday allowance 📚 Ongoing training and development 📈 Career progression within a leading FM organisation 🏥 Stable, long-term hospital contract 🚀 If you’re a skilled Mechanical Engineer 🔧 looking to grow your career within a high-profile healthcare environment, this is an excellent opportunity to join a respected facilities management business
