Job ID: 17519 | Type: Permanent | Expertise: Market Access, HEOR & RWERecruiter: Martin Anderson (Founding Director)Email: Manager – Patient-Centred OutcomesLeading Health Outcomes Consultancy – Hybrid WorkingAre you an experienced Patient-Centred Outcomes researcher looking to take the next step in your career within a leading health outcomes consultancy?We are partnering with an established healthcare consultancy recognised for its expertise in Patient-Centred Outcomes (PCO), Patient-Reported Outcomes (PROs) and Clinical Outcome Assessments (COAs).They are looking to recruit a Research Manager to join their growing team, taking responsibility for the delivery of qualitative and quantitative research projects focused on the selection, development, validation and use of COAs within pharmaceutical drug development.This is an opportunity to join an experienced and supportive research team working with pharmaceutical clients to generate patient-centred evidence that informs clinical development and the evaluation of treatment benefit.Everything you need to know about the roleLead qualitative and quantitative research projects focused on PROs and other COAsSupport the selection, development, validation and implementation of COA measuresManage projects across timelines, contractual requirements and financial deliverablesWork directly with pharmaceutical and life sciences clients, contributing to discussions around COA strategyDesign and conduct qualitative research and analyse and report research findingsCritically review scientific deliverables to ensure quality, accuracy and alignment with client requirementsLead project teams, allocating and supervising work across team membersCoach, mentor and support the development of junior colleaguesContribute to research proposals and wider business development activitiesSupport the development of conference presentations, posters and journal publicationsDepending on experience, contribute to patient preference research and interactions with regulatory agencies including the FDA and EMAExperience and qualities that make you a strong fitBSc, MSc or equivalent in Health Psychology, Psychology, Psychological Research Methods, Sociology, Life Sciences or a related disciplineMinimum of 3 years’ experience within a relevant research, healthcare or consultancy environmentExperience developing and/or validating PRO measures or other COAsExperience designing and conducting qualitative research and analysing and reporting qualitative data and/or working with quantitative dataPharmaceutical or life sciences client management experienceStrong project management skills, including experience managing contractual and financial aspects of projectsAbility to critically review scientific and client-facing deliverablesStrong leadership skills with experience managing project teams and supervising workExcellent written, communication and presentation skillsStrong attention to detail with the ability to work independently within a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of Good Clinical Practice, research ethics and relevant data protection requirementsExperience with regulatory engagement, psychometric validation, patient preference research or line management would be advantageousWhat’s on offer?Join a leading health outcomes consultancy with established expertise in Patient-Centered OutcomesWork on varied and scientifically interesting projects for pharmaceutical clientsOpportunity to develop your expertise across PROs, COAs and patient-centred researchSupportive and collaborative team environmentStrong opportunities for training, professional development and career progressionCompetitive salary and performance-related rewardsHealth insurance and pensionOn-site gym membershipHybrid working, with approximately 2 days per week expected in the Bollington officeCould this be the role for you?If you have experience within Patient-Centred Outcomes, PROs or Clinical Outcome Assessments and are ready to take greater ownership of projects, clients and research teams, this could be an excellent opportunity to progress your career within an established specialist consultancy.Apply now or get in touch directly to learn more.
