Teaching Assistant

Position: Teaching Assistant - Full-time
Location: Wavertree, Liverpool
Start Date: ASAP - December 2026
Salary: £95 - £105 per day (dependent on experience)

Aspire People are working with a large, welcoming Primary School in Wavertree, Liverpool, who are seeking a committed and nurturing Teaching Assistant to support pupils in KS1. This full-time role is available to start as soon as possible and is offered on a long-term basis until minimum December 2026.

The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to deliver small-group interventions, while also providing targeted support to pupils within the classroom, including children with SEND needs. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school community that values inclusion, teamwork, and pupil progress.

The role:
* Supporting learning across KS1 through targeted interventions and small-group work
* Assisting with phonics, reading, writing, and early maths development
* Providing in-class support for pupils with SEND, adapting tasks where required
* Helping to implement individual support strategies and EHCP targets (where applicable)
* Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence, and independence
* Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
