Senior Financial Accountant

This Senior Financial Accountant role in the life science industry will see you managing financial reporting and compliance to ensure accurate and timely financial records. Based in Horley, you'll be a key player in supporting the accounting and finance operations of the organisation. Client Details This role is within the life science industry and is based in Horley. Description Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Analyse financial data and provide insights to support decision-making. Maintain and improve financial controls and processes. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.Profile A successful Senior Financial Accountant should have: A recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA). Strong technical accounting skills, including knowledge of financial reporting standards. Experience in the life science industry or a similar sector. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders. The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.Job Offer Competitive salary ranging from £80,000 to £85,000 dependent on the level of experience.
