Position: Primary Teacher (Experienced Teachers & Early Career Teachers)
Start Date: September 2026
Salary: £130–£160 per day DOE

Cover People are working in partnership with a specialist school in Stockport to recruit passionate and committed teachers for September 2026. The school supports pupils with a range of additional needs, providing a nurturing, structured, and therapeutic learning environment where positive relationships and personalised learning are at the heart of everything they do. Staff work collaboratively to help pupils overcome barriers to learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.
Whether you have previous experience in SEND or are looking to develop your skills within a specialist setting, this is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated and supportive team.
The Role:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
Create a calm, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
Build strong relationships that support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies to maximise pupil outcomes
Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to provide a holistic approach to learning
Contribute positively to the wider life of the school
We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or expected QTS by September 2026
Applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers are welcomed

A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional learning needs
A commitment to creating positive outcomes for every learner
