Role: Service Technician

Salary: £35,000 Basic | £49,000 OTE

Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm | 1 in 4 Saturday mornings – TIME & A HALF

Richard Abson Group is currently assisting a reputable main car dealership in Cheltenham in their search for a skilled and motivated Service Technician.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Technician looking to join a professional, well-equipped workshop and work alongside an experienced team. The role offers a strong Monday-to-Friday working pattern, with only 1 in 4 Saturday mornings required, paid at time and a half.

As a Service Technician, you'll be responsible for:

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults.
• Completing routine maintenance and servicing efficiently and accurately.
• Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve vehicle faults.
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with manufacturer guidelines.
• Working efficiently to achieve individual and team targets.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop environment.

The ideal Service Technician will have:

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (essential).
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician or similar within a main dealership, independent garage or automotive environment.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills.
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with excellent attention to detail.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• A full UK driving licence.

Service Technician Salary & Benefits:
