We are working with an international law firm that is seeking a Senior Solicitor to join its highly regarded Development and Construction team on a non-contentious basis.

The Role

This team is a central part of the firm’s practice and advises on a broad range of construction and development matters across the full lifecycle of projects. Clients include public bodies, developers, investors, funders, property owners, contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers and professional consultants.

The work spans the full spectrum of construction, development and infrastructure matters, with particular emphasis on regeneration projects, the accommodation and housing sectors, energy and renewables, healthcare, hotels and major infrastructure.

Key Requirements

• Qualified solicitor with at least 4 years PQE
• Experience in non-contentious construction law
• Strong knowledge of standard form contracts and appointments, including JCT, NEC and FIDIC, together with market-standard amendments and commercial positions
• Experience with bespoke and complex agreements and development-led transactions
• Ability to run matters, manage files and handle a varied workload effectively
• Experience supervising, mentoring and developing junior team members
• Experience with, an the proactive nature, in business development
