We are suppliers of sanitary-ware to the new build market, buying products from a large mix of suppliers, helping house builders create a specification and then distributing from one of our five warehouses across the UK.

Job Description We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Purchasing Assistant to join our Purchasing department in Bury St Edmunds.
As a dedicated Purchasing Assistant, youll be strong at dealing with high levels of problem solving, be a team player as well as being able to work independently, with good attention to detail and outstanding communicative skills.
Responsibilities Include: Processing purchase orders and ensuring that we are buying in at the correct price and margin.
This includes call off orders being processed weekly/quarterly/fortnightly as required.
Stock management responsible for ensuring that we are utilising slow moving or deadstock before ordering, as well as ensuring that key stock lines are maintained for group deal customers.
Working with internal sales to ensure stock is being called in correctly and site orders are being placed in a timely manner.
Building relationships with suppliers and raising issues where necessary.
Checking order confirmations to ensure that items/quantities and pricing are correct.
Assisting accounts with any invoice queries that arise.
Running reports and utilising Excel to determine how quickly products are moving and ensuring the correct amount of stock is in the branches, as well as what purchase orders are outstanding, where customers require stock, and where and when stock is being delivered.
Organising stock transfers between branches where required.
In addition to these duties, you may be required to undertake other duties in line with the needs of the business, where appropriate training will be provided. xwzovoh
Qualities Needed: Problem solving Team player, but equally able to work independently Excellent telephone manner and communicative skills Organised and good attention to detail PC literate, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Able to work under pressure Confident and able to use own initiative when needed.
