Job Description Class 1 Driver | HGV Class 1 Driver | HGV Driver | Night Driver | LGV Class 1 Driver \n £17.95 per hour | Overtime £18.95 per hour Guaranteed 46.25 hours per week Permanent Position \n Essential Workforce are currently recruiting an experienced Class 1 Night Driver for a permanent position with one of our established clients. \n This is an excellent opportunity for a professional Class 1 driver looking for the security of a permanent role, guaranteed hours and regular night work . The Role\n You will be responsible for trunking from depot to depot using a curtainsided vehicle. \n The position is primarily driving based, but you will also be expected to maintain high professional standards throughout your shift. \n \n Depot-to-depot trunking \n Driving a Class 1 curtainsided vehicle \n Carrying out all required vehicle checks \n Completing all relevant paperwork to a high standard \n Ensuring loads and the vehicle are safe and secure \n Communicating effectively with depot and transport teams \n Working in accordance with all relevant drivers' hours and road transport legislation \n Hours & Pay\n \n £17.95 per hour night rate \n £18.95 per hour overtime rate \n Guaranteed 46.25 hours per week \n Overtime available once your guaranteed 46.25 hours have been completed \n Permanent employment \n Driver Requirements\n To be considered for this position, you must: \n \n Be aged 25 or over \n Hold a valid Class 1 / C+E licence \n Have a minimum of 24 months' Class 1 driving experience \n Have completed at least 30 days of driving within the last 90 days \n Have no more than 6 points on your driving licence \n Hold a valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card \n Be able to complete paperwork accurately and to a high standard \n Have excellent communication skills \n Be professional, reliable and safety conscious \n Benefits\n As well as a permanent position and guaranteed weekly hours, our client offers: \n \n One CPC course paid for each year \n Free on-site parking \n Free breakfasts \n Overtime opportunities \n Regular, secure work \n Guaranteed 46.25-hour working week \n \n This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Class 1 driver looking to move into a stable, permanent night driving position with guaranteed hours and additional earning potential through overtime. \n Apply today for immediate consideration. \
