About the role
Working Environment
AI delivery is still maturing, with accelerating adoption alongside live delivery commitments. Processes are evolving rather than fixed, and success depends on judgement, adaptability and clear communication rather than rigid frameworks.
The role sits at the intersection of technical delivery, commercial awareness and stakeholder engagement, requiring comfort operating across both technical and non‑technical spheres.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own and coordinate delivery across AI‑related workstreams, shaping them into coherent delivery plans
- Manage delivery plans across multiple teams, balancing priorities, dependencies and constraints
- Track delivery progress, risks and issues, acting as a central point of escalation
- Manage financials and commercials, including forecasting, tracking spend and supporting decision‑making
- Translate technical concepts into clear, accessible language for stakeholders
- Apply pragmatic agile and lean delivery practices suited to AI teams
- Maintain delivery momentum in fast‑moving and sometimes ambiguous environments
- Build strong working relationships across engineering, product, delivery and commercial teams
Your Experience
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Experience working as a Delivery Manager (or equivalent) in AI or highly technical environments
- Around 2-3 years' experience delivering AI‑related or engineering‑led work
- Strong planning, organisation and prioritisation skills
- Credible technical understanding, able to engage confidently with engineers and architects
- Experience managing financials, budgets or commercials within delivery contexts
- Confidence working across multiple teams and competing priorities
- Strong communication skills across technical and non‑technical audiences
In Return
You'll play a key role in shaping how AI delivery scales across the organisation, working at the point where strategy, engineering and delivery intersect.
This is an opportunity to bring order, pace and confidence to complex delivery environments and to grow your influence as AI capability continues to evolve.
