Public Area Crew - YOTEL Edinburgh Housekeeping

We are looking for someone to join ourHousekeeping - Public Area, 40 hours Fully Flexible

Purpose of the role

As part of our Cabin Crew team, you'll be responsible for ensuring all guest-facing and back-of-house areas are kept clean, tidy, and looking their best throughout the day. You'll create a welcoming, hygienic, and safe environment for both guests and team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and and maintain all public areas including the reception, corridors, lifts, stairs, guest toilets etc.
• Regularly check high-traffic areas to ensure standards are consistently met throughout shift.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly
• Ensure all surfaces, floors, glass, and fixtures are clean and free from dust or marks.
• Support team members and communicate effectively with the wider YOTEL team
• Follow all health and safety, COSHH, and hygiene guidelines
• Always maintain a friendly and professional attitude with guests and colleagues

What we're looking for

• Experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role, ideally in a hotel or high-footfall environment
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Great attention to detail and high standards
• Reliable, and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Understanding of health and safety procedure.
• Good time management and adaptability to changing priorities.
