Salary: £32,000 per annum

Set in one of the most beautiful corners of the Lake District, this well-established country house hotel is known for quality dining, fresh seasonal food and warm, genuine hospitality. The kitchen works closely with excellent local produce, and standards throughout are consistently high.

The hotel is looking for a skilled, enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join its established brigade. Moving to the area? Live-in accommodation is available for just £180 a month, about £42 a week, so you can make the move to the Lakes easily and keep more of your salary. You don't have to live in, and local chefs are just as welcome.

The Role

As Chef de Partie you'll run your own section and prepare and present dishes to a consistently high standard. You'll work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to keep the kitchen's quality and reputation high on every service. The role is 45 hours a week over five days, on a rota that includes evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
