Site Manager – Care Home & Residential 💷 Up to £65,000 + package 📍 Projects throughout the M25 🏗️ Residential & Care Home schemes up to £12m 📅 5th October 2026 Looking to join a stable £40m principal contractor, with a strong order book for the next 12 months? An established SME principal contractor delivering RC frame care home and residential projects across the M25, are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join their successful business. This is a hands-on delivery role, working closely with and reporting to either the Project Manager or Project Director, depending on the size and complexity of the scheme. Project range from £2m- £12m The Role You’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day management of your section or project, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality. Your responsibilities will include: Managing and coordinating subcontractors and trades Driving programme and short-term planning Monitoring quality and resolving issues on site Maintaining high Health & Safety standards Working closely with Design and Commercial teams Managing works from RC frame through externals, internals and handover Reporting progress to the Project Manager/Project Director  What Are They Looking For? They will be interested in Site Managers who have built their career with similar-sized SME principal contractors and understand the hands-on nature of that environment. You’ll need: Proven experience delivering residential and/or care home projects up to £13m Good all-round construction knowledge, ideally including RC frame A stable employment history Strong subcontractor management and programming skills A practical, proactive approach – someone who takes ownership rather than waits to be told SMSTS First Aid Black CSCS Card  The Opportunity This would particularly suit a Site Manager who enjoys the smaller contractor environment – being close to the decision-makers, taking genuine responsibility and seeing a project through rather than managing one small piece of a much larger machine.
