The OpportunityAre you an experienced Forklift Engineer looking for your next opportunity covering London and the surrounding areas?

Due to continued growth, we're recruiting a Mobile Forklift Engineer to join a well-established, employee-focused materials handling business.

You'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of forklift trucks and materials handling equipment across customer sites throughout London.
Offering a competitive basic salary of up to £40,700, including an additional £225 per month London waiting payment, you'll also have the opportunity to increase your earnings to almost £55,000 through overtime.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who is confident working independently, managing their own workload and providing a high-quality service to customers.

The Role
Servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of forklift trucks and materials handling equipment.
Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
Carrying out LOLER inspections to ensure equipment remains safe and compliant.
Completing safety checks and pre-delivery inspections (PDI).
Attending customer breakdowns and carrying out reactive maintenance to minimise downtime.
Organising and managing your own workload and service schedule.
Accurately completing service reports, job sheets and relevant documentation.
Liaising with parts departments to ensure the correct components are sourced and fitted.
Working independently across customer sites throughout London and the surrounding areas.
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
What We're Looking ForWe're looking for an experienced Forklift Engineer with:

Previous experience as a Forklift Engineer is essential, as you'll be working independently across the London area.
Proven experience servicing, maintaining and repairing diesel engines.
Strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic fault-finding skills.
Excellent diagnostic abilities and the confidence to work independently.
Good organisational and customer service skills.
A full UK driving licence.
Salary & Benefits
Basic salary: £35,700–£40,700, including a £225 per month London waiting payment.
OTE with 5 hours' overtime per week: £41,888–£47,825.
OTE with 10 hours' overtime per week: £48,076–£54,950.
Overtime paid at 1.5x.
