THE OPPORTUNITY

• Advising on a broad range of pensions matters including advisory, regulatory and transactional work.
• Supporting trustee and employer clients on day-to-day pensions issues, scheme governance and legislative developments.
• Involvement in pensions aspects of corporate transactions, restructurings and large-scale projects.
• Advising on scheme documentation, liability management exercises and risk transfer matters.
• Exposure to high-profile clients across a range of sectors including financial services, infrastructure, retail and public sector organisations.
• Working closely with colleagues across corporate, employment, finance and dispute resolution teams on multi-disciplinary matters.
• Building strong client relationships and taking an active role in business development initiatives.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Qualified solicitor with 4-8 years’ PQE in pensions law.
• Strong technical understanding of pensions advisory and regulatory matters.
• Experience gained within a recognised regional, national or international law firm.
• Exposure to transactional pensions support would be advantageous.
• Technically strong with excellent drafting and analytical skills.
• Confident communicator, capable of building trusted relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
• Organised, proactive and comfortable managing complex matters within a fast-paced environment.
• An ambitious lawyer keen to develop within a highly respected pensions practice.
