About the role

CCS are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a independent specialist SEN school supporting students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and additional learning needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Maths Teacher who is passionate about making Maths accessible, engaging, and meaningful for learners who require a structured and supportive approach. The successful Maths Teacher will play a key role in helping students develop confidence and achieve their full academic potential. Key Responsibilities * Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE) * Differentiate learning to meet the needs of students with autism, SEMH, and complex learning needs * Create a structured, calm, and supportive classroom environment * Use effective behaviour management strategies to support engagement and progress * Assess, track, and report on student progress in line with EHCP targets and individual learning plans * Work closely with support staff, SENCO, and wider school teams to deliver tailored provision * Contribute to EHCP reviews, planning meetings, and wider school processes * Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and inclusion at all times * Act as an effective Maths Teacher, ensuring all students are supported to make meaningful progress * Develop and adapt resources to enhance the delivery of the Maths curriculum Person Specification * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential * Experience working as a Maths Teacher at KS3 and KS4 (GCSE) * Experience working within SEN, autism, or complex needs settings (desirable) * Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills * Patient, adaptable, and committed to inclusive education * Passionate about delivering high-quality teaching as a Maths Teacher Working Hours * Monday to Friday * 8:00am – 4:00pm About the Role This is a highly rewarding role within a specialist SEN environment where the focus is on supporting pupils to achieve meaningful academic and personal progress.
