FABRICATOR / WELDER Middletown | Permanent | £15.00 per hour Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm Friday: 7:30am – 1:30pm Role Overview A local business in Middletown is seeking an experienced Fabricator / Welder to join its manufacturing team. This is a permanent position offering long-term stability and an immediate start for the right candidate. The successful applicant will be responsible for fabricating and welding components to a high standard while working from technical drawings and maintaining quality requirements. Key Responsibilities * Read and interpret technical and engineering drawings * Fabricate and weld components to required specifications * Carry out high-amperage welding and metal cutting operations * Assemble components and perform quality inspections * Complete UKCA quality documentation accurately * Maintain tools, equipment and a clean working environment * Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production deadlines * Follow all health and safety procedures and company standards Skills & Experience * Proven fabrication and MIG welding experience * Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * Strong attention to detail and quality standards * Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment * Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines * Good understanding of health and safety requirements * Full UK driving licence (essential) Desirable: * Abrasive wheels certificate * Forklift licence * Overhead crane certification
