TEGG Technician Location: Site Based, Greenwich, United Kingdom Hours: 7am – 4pm Salary: Dependent on Experience About the Company Our client is an established turnkey Principal Contractor with in-house tradespeople, delivering electrical, construction and engineering services. Role Overview The TEGG Technician will provide predictive, proactive and preventive testing in accordance with TEGG Service preventive maintenance agreements and TEGG Task software. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining and installing electrical systems and associated equipment. The Technician will also coordinate assigned agreements or DES work to ensure contractual commitments are delivered on time and cost-effectively. Key Responsibilities • Troubleshoot, repair, maintain and install electrical systems and associated equipment • Follow systematic questioning and point-by-point troubleshooting procedures when investigating customer complaints and equipment faults • Check complete systems, safety controls and limit settings before leaving site to avoid unnecessary callbacks • Use the correct tools and instruments for testing and troubleshooting • Assist other Certified TEGG Electricians and Technicians with complex technical issues • Seek assistance when required to resolve difficult or unusual faults • Coordinate assigned agreements or DES work to meet contractual, programme and cost requirements • Follow the planned call schedule and manage time to maintain maximum productivity • Complete a Service Report before leaving each job site • Ensure relevant permits are secured where applicable and that work complies with electrical codes and industry standards • Provide design input when requested • Clearly communicate relevant information to customers and ensure they understand current and future works being completed Requirements • Strong understanding of electrical systems, relevant codes and industry standards • Ability to manage a heavy workload of service calls • Full UK driving licence • Basic computer literacy and the ability to access required software • Basic knowledge of word-processing and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and MS Word What’s on Offer • Salary dependent on experience • Flexible working hours in line with business needs • Overtime payment where extended hours are agreed with the line manager • Employee-Owned Trust eligibility after 12 months’ continuous employment • Private Healthcare • Private Dental Insurance • Life Insurance • Pension Scheme • Length of Service reward scheme • Tradepoint discount scheme • Private Financial Advice #INDPERM
