Kimchee is one of London's best-known Korean restaurant brands, serving authentic Korean food in a vibrant, fast-paced environment. We are now looking for an exceptional General Manager to lead our flagship restaurant and drive the next stage of growth.
This is an opportunity for a hands-on, commercially focused leader who thrives on building great teams, delivering outstanding guest experiences, and running a high-performing business.
The Role
As General Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day operation and overall performance of the restaurant.
You will lead and develop your management team, drive sales and profitability, maintain exceptional operational standards, and create a positive culture where people can thrive.
You will work closely with the Operations team while having the autonomy to make decisions, implement improvements, and shape the future success of the business.
What You'll Be Doing
Leading, coaching and developing a high-performing management team
Driving sales, profitability and guest satisfaction
Managing labour, food and operating costs
Taking ownership of P&L performance and restaurant budgets
Delivering exceptional service and operational standards
Ensuring compliance with food safety, health & safety and company policies
Managing recruitment, training, engagement and retention
Acting as the face of the business for both guests and team members
What We're Looking For
Proven experience as a General Manager within a busy restaurant environment
Strong commercial awareness and P&L management experience
Passion for hospitality and guest experience
A natural leader who inspires, motivates and develops people
Excellent organisational and communication skills
High standards, strong xwzovoh attention to detail and a hands-on approach
Experience in premium casual dining or branded restaurants would be advantageous
