Finance Manager - Manufacturing Location: Northampton Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 + benefits Working Pattern: Full-time, office-based The Opportunity A well-established and highly regarded business is seeking a Finance Manager to join its team in a broad and hands-on role. Working closely with senior leadership, this position offers the opportunity to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function whilst supporting wider commercial and operational decision-making. The successful candidate will be a key member of a close-knit team and will play an important role in the continued success of the business. This role would suit somebody who enjoys working within a collaborative environment, is happy to get involved across all areas of finance and is looking for a long-term opportunity within a stable and growing organisation. Key Responsibilities Preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting packs Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management Balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls Support year-end accounts and external audit processes Management and development of finance processes and procedures Business partnering with operational and non-finance stakeholders Analysis of margins, profitability and business performance Support strategic decision-making through financial insight Oversee day-to-day finance operations Ad hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives Candidate Profile ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified preferred Previous Finance Manager or Financial Controller experience Strong management accounting and financial control background Commercially minded with excellent communication skills Hands-on and adaptable approach Comfortable working within a smaller, collaborative team Experience within manufacturing, retail, consumer products, distribution or similar environments would be advantageous Strong Excel and systems skills What's on Offer Broad and varied role with genuine responsibility Exposure to senior stakeholders and business decision-making Supportive and collaborative working environment Long-term career opportunity Competitive salary and benefits package
