Contract Type: Full-time, Long-Term Start Date: September 2026 About the Role Exclusive Education is currently recruiting a Secondary Teaching Assistant for a welcoming secondary school in Tameside. This long-term opportunity is ideal for an experienced Teaching Assistant, a recent graduate or an aspiring teacher. Working across Key Stages 3 and 4, you will support students in lessons, deliver small group interventions, and help create a positive and engaging learning environment. Key Responsibilities * Support students within the classroom across a range of subjects * Deliver one-to-one and small group support where required * Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities * Promote positive behaviour and student engagement * Support students with varying learning abilities and needs * Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment You will need * 2 references which comment on you working with young people or in a care setting * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Patient, enthusiastic, and flexible approach * Eligible to work in the UK * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one What Exclusive Education Offers * Competitive pay of £95-£105 per day. * Long-term placement in a supportive secondary school. * Dedicated consultant support throughout your placement. * Access to a range of opportunities across the North West. * Simple and efficient registration process.
