Operations Manager (Regional)

We're seeking an experienced people leader with a strong technical background to join our client's Service Division as a Regional Operations Manager. This role is ideal for someone who has progressed from a hands-on engineering or technical role into managing and developing field-based teams, ideally within hospitality, building services, or fixtures/fittings environments. The Role Covering South London & the South East, you'll lead a team of Installation & Service Technicians, driving service performance, team development, and operational standards across your region. This is a field-based role involving regular site visits and hands-on leadership. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop a mobile team of technicians Drive regional performance and service delivery Conduct 1:1s, reviews, and on-site support Manage performance, training, and development Ensure high standards of customer service and qualityAbout You Background in field service/engineering (5+ years hands-on) Experience managing remote or field-based teams Strong leadership and coaching skills Experience in hospitality, building services, or similar Solid technical knowledge (electrical/mechanical preferred)Package Company vehicle + fuel card 25 days holiday + bank holidays Pension, life assurance & private medicalThe ideal location for this role would be south of the river, Guildford, Surrey or Kent.
