Our Thames Gateway Division is looking to recruit a Sales Advisor to join the Division’s Sales team. The development we are recruiting for is located in Kent, DA2 6QH.The RoleThe role of Sales Advisor, reports to the Sales Manager and carries out all sales aspects involved in the day-to-day running of a development, whilst ensuring we give the highest level of service to all customers. The role also involves achieving or exceeding sales targets as well as effectively progressing reservations through contract exchange and legal completion.Responsible for achieving sales targets, as defined by senior managementLiaise with customers, solicitors and financial advisors on a regular basis to ensure timely contract exchange and legal completions including assisting customers post completion with the reporting of any repairs or customer issuesProactively work with Sales Managers and colleagues to suggest ideas to achieve increased salesResponsible for the general presentation of the site and ensuring it is always maintained to the highest standardsEnsure that all relevant knowledge is acquired to be able to give full and accurate information to purchasersGuide customers around show homes, stock plots and site to fully demonstrate the product, features and benefitsEnsure all sales site visitors have been made aware of Bellway’s Health and Safety Policy and they are always accompanied by a Bellway representativeEffectively utilise Bellway’s CRM system, including maintaining accurate recordsLiaise with Site Manager to ensure all customer meetings are arranged in a timely mannerAttend and record a weekly Sales/Site Meeting with the Site Manager and complete any action points arisingEnsure compliance with industry regulations and company policies, processes and standardsExperience, Qualifications and SkillsExperienceExperience of working within the housebuilding industry would be beneficialExperience of delivering excellent customer service Experience of working with confidential and sensitive informationExperience of property sales and marketing processExperience of dealing with people in a customer focused environment including home visitsExperience of establishing effective working relationships with other property professionals and outside agenciesQualifications and TrainingCurrent full UK driving licenceAccess to a vehicle for business use as requiredSkills and AptitudeAbility to develop a thorough knowledge of the home buying/conveyancing processAbility to use own initiative to plan, prioritise and organise work to meet sales/completion targetsProficient IT skills along with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and outlook) and the ability to adapt to new systemsAbility to communicate effectively with all stakeholders and have strong interpersonal skillsCommitted to diversity and inclusionAbility to work alone or within a team environmentThe Role and Working ConditionsPredominantly a site-based role but with travel to divisional offices requiredFlexible approach with regard to working hours and location, including weekends and occasional evenings as requiredIn return we can offer you:Competitive basic salary + monthly commissionContributory pension scheme25 days holiday, plus bank holidaysAccess to discounts and benefits portalShareSave SchemeCycle to Work SchemeLife assuranceHoliday Purchase SchemeEarn and Learn Opportunities We reserve the right to close this vacancy if a large volume of applications are received.FunctionSales and MarketingLocationDartfordSalaryCompetitiveTypePermanent - Full TimeDownloadable Job FilesRight to Work - Document ChecklistClosing date18.08.2026
