Manual Machinist

Full-time | Permanent

We are looking for a skilled and detail-focused CNC Machinist to join a specialist precision engineering team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with both manual and CNC machinery, producing highly accurate small-hole drilling work, with some holes as small as 0.02mm. The role offers variety, technical challenges and the opportunity to work with new CNC technology.

Key Responsibilities

Set and operate CNC and manual machines.

*

Read and interpret engineering drawings.

*

Programme and carry out precision machining and small-hole drilling.

*

Manufacture fixtures and tooling using manual milling machines and lathes.

*

Maintain high standards of accuracy and quality.

Skills & Experience

*

Experience operating and programming CNC machines.

*

Competent using manual milling machines and lathes.

*

Ability to read and understand technical drawings.

*

Experience in precision engineering or toolmaking would be an advantage.

*

Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach.
