Job Title: Bodyshop Workshop Controller Location: Thurmaston, Leicester Salary: Up to £42,000 + Bonus Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm About the Role We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Bodyshop Workshop Controller / Production Manager to join a busy and well-established accident repair centre in Thurmaston, Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and organised individual to play a key role in managing workshop operations, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining high standards across all repairs. Key Responsibilities · Oversee the day-to-day running of the bodyshop workshop · Manage workflow and ensure jobs are completed efficiently and on time · Coordinate technicians, schedules, and repair processes · Monitor productivity and ensure targets are achieved · Handle administrative processes, including job approvals and documentation · Maintain high standards in line with industry regulations and audits · Ensure compliance with company systems, procedures, and health & safety requirements About You · Proven experience within an accident repair bodyshop environment · Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, Production Manager, or similar role · Strong organisational and time management skills · Numerate and literate, with the ability to manage administrative tasks effectively · Ability to manage workflow, approvals, and quality standards · A hands-on, proactive approach with strong leadership skills · Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Additional Requirement Due to existing contracts with the police, all candidates must be able to pass NPPV Level 2 vetting.
