Senior Finance Lead

Job Title: Senior Finance Lead Location: Peterborough Salary: £100,000-£120,000 + benefits Overview We are partnering with a large, multi-site organisation to recruit a Senior Finance Lead. This is a high-impact role for a commercially minded finance leader to take ownership of operational finance, partnering closely with senior stakeholders to drive performance, improve visibility of key metrics, and support strategic decision-making. The role will suit someone who enjoys working at pace, influencing non-finance teams, and using financial insight to improve business outcomes. Key Responsibilities Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance planning across multiple sites Partner with senior operational stakeholders to drive efficiency and profitability Provide clear financial insight, analysis, and decision support Establish and track KPIs to improve performance visibility and accountability Drive cost control and operational efficiency initiatives Enhance reporting, processes, and systems to improve output and accuracy Lead and develop a team aligned to operational finance delivery Key Requirements Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) Proven experience in a senior operational or commercial finance role Strong background in business partnering and performance management Experience leading and developing finance teams Confident communicator with the ability to influence at a senior level Strong analytical and systems capability (ERP exposure essential) About You You are a commercially focused finance leader who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment.
