Children's Social Worker- Front Door [Bolton]

Our client, a Greater Manchester council is seeking a Children’s Social Worker to join their Front Door Team.

Responsibilities of this role:

• Undertake Child and Family Assessments, focusing on risk reduction and positive outcomes for children and families.
• Manage complex caseloads involving Child in Need, Child Protection and Public Law Outline (PLO) cases.
• Work intensively with families using a strengths-based approach to address safeguarding concerns and reduce risk.
• Complete direct interventions with parents around issues such as domestic abuse, substance misuse and mental health.
• Develop and review child-centred plans in partnership with families and multi-agency professionals.
• Attend core groups, child protection conferences, strategy meetings and court proceedings as required.
• Maintain accurate case records, assessments and reports in line with statutory guidance and timescales.
• Collaborate with specialist practitioners and partner agencies to promote sustainable change and improve outcomes for children.
