Supplier Quality Engineer / Production Engineer

To act as sole Quality contact for assigned production area; to lead & become accountable for area’s Quality performance. To lead investigations via 8D process, govern outstanding actions and drive quality improvements through the area. To be responsible for Quality standards & inspection criteria. Triage & lead initial Quality investigation (via 8D / 6 Sigma approach); assign corrective action to respective offender group Govern area’s quality metric performance & assign corrective actions Develop / Maintain Quality standards & perform training to affected personnel as necessary Recommend & implement Quality improvement actions Act as ‘go-to’ person for area for any Quality-related issue
