About the role
Equans is looking for a Document Controller to join our team in Leeds on a permanent basis. On offer is a competitive salary, and benefits package.General Overview:The Document Controller works closely with Project and Technical teams and take the lead on managing project documentation across multiple construction and refurbishment projects. The role ensures documentation is accurate, compliant, accessible, and aligned with project, client, and regulatory requirements. This includes administering the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), supporting Fieldview setup, and maintaining high standards of information governance. Proficient in MS Office and comfortable learning digital systems. Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.Desirable:Experience in construction or engineering document control. Knowledge of Viewpoint (4Projects), Fieldview, or similar EDMS/CDE platforms. Understanding of ISO 19650 and project handover requirements. Experience with BIM-related documentation.
