Nurses to support services across Preston, Chorley and surrounding areas. We

The Role
As an A&E Nurse, you will provide high-quality emergency nursing care, supporting
patients with a wide range of urgent and complex healthcare needs.
Key Responsibilities
Assess, triage, and provide emergency nursing care to patients presenting
with a variety of conditions.
Deliver safe and effective care in line with NMC standards and clinical
guidelines.
Monitor patients; conditions, recognise deterioration, and escalate concerns
appropriately.
Administer medications and treatments safely.
Support emergency procedures, interventions, and resuscitation when
required.
Carry out clinical observations, assessments, and documentation.
Work effectively within a multidisciplinary emergency care team.
Provide reassurance, communication, and support to patients and families.
Maintain accurate patient records and follow infection prevention and
safeguarding procedures.
Adapt quickly to changing priorities within a busy emergency department.
Essential Requirements
Current NMC Registration as a Registered Nurse.
Minimum 6 months UK A&E / Emergency Department experience.
Previous experience working in an Emergency Department setting is
essential.
Valid Enhanced DBS.
Professional references covering the last 3 years of employment.
Strong emergency assessment and clinical decision-making skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Right to work in the UK.
