Senior Account Manager

A facilities management provider is seeking a Senior Account Manager in Birmingham to lead a complex education portfolio spanning 16–17 schools. You will oversee hard and soft services, commercial performance, operational teams, compliance and key stakeholder relationships. The Role As the Senior Account Manager, you'll: Lead operational teams delivering M&E, building fabric, security and cleaning services. Own contract P&L, budgets, financial reporting and commercial performance. Manage performance reporting, payment mechanisms and mitigation of associated deductions. Build effective relationships with schools, stakeholders and external customers. Maintain statutory, quality, health and safety compliance across the portfolio. Drive continuous improvement, service performance, revenue growth and effective change. About You To be successful as the Senior Account Manager, you'll have: Extensive operational management experience within complex, challenging service environments. Essential PFI operational management experience and strong commercial awareness. Previous P&L responsibility exceeding £5 million per year. Good knowledge of statutory compliance, SFG20 and basic M&E principles. Proven people leadership, client management and supplier contract negotiation skills. Ideally, facilities management, outsourced services or PFI payment mechanism experience. What's in it for You? £72,000–£80,000 per year. £5,100 car allowance. 25 days' annual leave.
