This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping and leading a growing service line within a supportive and collaborative environment.The OpportunityYou’ll take ownership of a portfolio of clients, ensuring bookkeeping and outsourced finance services are delivered accurately, efficiently and to an exceptional standard. Alongside client delivery, you’ll lead and inspire a multi-location team, helping to drive performance, quality and continuous improvement.This role offers genuine scope to influence processes, embrace technology and contribute to the strategic growth of the outsourcing function.Key ResponsibilitiesBuilding and maintaining strong, long-term client relationshipsReviewing bookkeeping, VAT returns, CIS returns and management accountsOverseeing VAT registrations, de-registrations and handling VAT enquiriesManaging team workflow, deadlines and quality controlLeading, coaching and motivating a team across multiple offices (UK and overseas)Reviewing timesheets and monitoring recoverabilitySupporting new business development, proposals and conversion of prospectsDriving process improvements and embedding technology solutionsEnsuring compliance standards are met and maintainedAssisting with billing and monitoring fee recoveryAbout YouYou will ideally be AAT, ACCA or ACA qualified (or qualified by experience) with solid experience gained within an accountancy practice environment.You will also bring:Strong, hands-on bookkeeping experienceGood working knowledge of VATConfidence using systems such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, Dext and ApprovalMaxPrevious experience managing or mentoring staffExcellent organisational and communication skillsA proactive, solutions-focused mindsetA genuine enthusiasm for developing people and improving processesWhy Apply?Competitive salary with performance-related bonusPension schemePrivate medical insuranceLife assuranceOngoing professional development and trainingFlexible working arrangementsSupportive, collaborative culture within a growing groupIf you’re looking for a role where you can combine client delivery, team leadership and strategic input — while being part of a firm that values innovation and long-term relationships — we’d love to hear from you.
