Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm
Job Summary
We are currently recruiting for an experienced BMS Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management provider, working across a prestigious portfolio of commercial & residential properties in Central London.
The role will involve the maintenance, fault-finding and optimisation of Building Management Systems, ensuring all BMS and associated building services operate efficiently and reliably. The successful candidate will ideally have a strong technical background, excellent fault-finding skills and experience working within commercial or critical environments.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled BMS Engineer to join a well-established FM provider and work across a high-profile estate.
Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive BMS maintenance.
• Diagnose and resolve BMS faults efficiently.
• Monitor and optimise building systems and controls.
• Complete routine system checks and inspections.
• Respond to alarms and investigate system issues.
• Work closely with engineers and site teams.
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
• Support the safe and efficient operation of building services.
• Ensure all works are completed in line with H&S procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a BMS Engineer within a commercial and residential environment.
• Strong knowledge of BMS systems, controls and building services.
• Experience with fault-finding, diagnostics and reactive maintenance.
• Good understanding of HVAC and associated mechanical/electrical systems.
• Relevant BMS, electrical or building services qualifications preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
• Good understanding of health & safety and compliance requirements.
• Professional, reliable and well-presented approach.
• Right to work in the UK
