The firm runs a diversified portfolio of systematic and quantitative strategies across global markets, complemented by discretionary trading in areas where human judgement can add value.With proprietary trading platforms, research systems, and large-scale computing infrastructure, the firm combines quantitative research, technology, and experienced investment judgement within a globally integrated and collaborative environment.They are now looking to hire recent and upcoming graduates from top universities to join their Discretionary Trading team.As a Junior Discretionary Trader, you will work closely with senior traders and quantitative researchers, gaining hands-on exposure to the full trading process — from evaluating opportunities and managing risk through to hedging and execution.You will have the opportunity to develop a broad understanding of global markets across Equities, Commodities, Rates/FX, Credit, and Volatility, while building expertise in research, portfolio construction, risk management, and trade execution.ResponsibilitiesSupport senior traders in identifying, evaluating, and managing trading opportunities across global marketsMonitor portfolios and produce P&L, exposure, and risk reportingAssist with hedging and trade execution, including complex, bespoke, or illiquid transactionsWork closely with quantitative researchers to incorporate data, analytics, and systematic insights into trading decisionsConduct market and trade analysis to support portfolio management and investment decisionsDevelop a deep understanding of market dynamics, risk, and portfolio constructionContribute to improving trading processes, tools, and decision-making frameworksIf you are a soon to be graduate or have a few years of experience in trading then I encourage you to apply.Reference: AMC/ZBR/JST/LDN/NYCPostcode: 10060#zabrApply for this vacancyYour CV will be sent to the selected department.
