Night Shift Quality Inspector Aerospace Manufacturing | Permanent Late Shift | Monday–Thursday A leading precision engineering and aerospace manufacturing business is looking to recruit an experienced Night Shift Quality Inspector to join their growing Quality team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled inspector with experience in precision components, engineering drawings, FAIRs, and dimensional inspection to join a well-established business supplying high-specification products into demanding industries.
Working on a permanent late shift, you'll play a key role in ensuring all products meet engineering, customer, and quality standards across manufacturing and supply chain operations.
Shift Pattern Monday – Thursday 5:00pm – 3:15am Permanent late shift Shift premium included Key Responsibilities Carry out inspection of parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies against engineering drawings and customer specifications Complete inspection documentation with full traceability and compliance Support production with first-off inspections and batch verification Produce and compile FAIRs (First Article Inspection Reports) Conduct goods inward inspection activities Identify and report non-conformances in line with company procedures Support root cause analysis and corrective actions Escalate quality concerns where required Ensure compliance with quality and HSE procedures at all times What We're Looking For Previous experience within Quality Inspection in a precision engineering or manufacturing environment Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Experience using inspection gauges and measuring equipment CMM experience preferred FAIR / First Article Inspection experience Knowledge of geometric tolerancing, imperial and metric measurement systems Strong understanding of quality standards and inspection processes Aerospace experience advantageous but not essential ERP / MRP experience desirable (Javelin beneficial) Knowledge of SPC, MSA, NDT, xwzovoh ISO or ASME standards advantageous Salary & Benefits £36,000 – £45,000 including shift premium Permanent 4-day working week 23 days holiday bank holidays & increases with service Healthcare scheme Employee Assistance Programme Life Assurance (4x salary) Company pension contribution On-site parking Long-term career development opportunities Apply Now If you are an experienced Quality Inspector, Mechanical Inspector, or CMM Inspector looking for a long-term opportunity within a growing aerospace manufacturing business, we would like to hear from you.
