Job Title: Pre-Construction Manager (M&E) Location: Warrington Employment Type: Permanent The Company Our client is a leading Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) contractor dedicated to delivering high-quality projects across a variety of sectors. We are currently seeking a Pre-Construction Manager to join their dynamic team. Role Overview: As the Pre-Construction Manager you will play a pivotal role in the early stages of project development, ensuring that all pre-construction activities are efficiently managed and aligned with their company goals. You will collaborate closely with project stakeholders to deliver comprehensive project plans, timelines, and cost estimates. Key Responsibilities: * Lead the pre-construction phase for M&E projects, including planning, coordination, and execution. * Conduct detailed reviews of project specifications, drawings, and client requirements to assess feasibility and identify potential challenges. * Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocations in alignment with operational goals. * Collaborate with engineering, design, and procurement teams to ensure technical and financial viability of projects. * Engage with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to foster strong relationships and ensure seamless communication throughout the pre-construction phase. * Prepare and present pre-construction documentation and reports to senior management and stakeholders. * Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices. Qualifications: * Proven experience as a Pre-Construction Manager or similar role within the M&E contracting sector, or a project manager with strong pre-construction skills will also be considered. * Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles and construction practices. * Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. * Proficient in project management software and tools. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. * Degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
