You will be the link between the engineering team and wider production operation, helping to create a proactive maintenance culture focused on safety, performance, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities * Lead and support a team of multi-skilled engineers across daily engineering operations * Coordinate engineering workloads and ensure maintenance activities are completed safely and effectively * Drive completion of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules to maximise equipment reliability * Support rapid response to breakdowns and minimise production downtime * Assist engineers with mechanical, electrical, and automation fault diagnosis * Manage shift handovers and ensure effective communication across engineering teams * Ensure compliance with site safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, and lockout/tagout processes * Maintain high standards of health, safety, hygiene, and audit compliance * Support engineering projects including equipment installation, commissioning, and upgrades What We're Looking For We are keen to speak with Engineering Supervisors, Lead Engineers, Senior Engineers, or Team Leaders from fast-paced manufacturing environments, including: * FMCG * Food & Beverage * Chemical * Plastics * Packaging To be successful, you will ideally have: * Previous experience leading or supervising engineering teams within manufacturing * Strong multi-skilled engineering knowledge with mechanical and electrical fault-finding experience * Experience working within automated, high-volume production environments * Experience using CMMS or maintenance management systems * The ability to motivate teams, prioritise workloads, and drive engineering performance The following would be advantageous but are not essential: * PLC fault-finding experience * TPM, Lean Manufacturing, or Continuous Improvement experience * NVQ Level 3, HNC, HND, or equivalent engineering qualification * 17th or 18th Edition Electrical Qualification
