Level 3 Teaching Assistant / HLTA – KS2 Alternative Provision Salford Start: ASAP ⏰ Full-time | Long-term Are you a confident and creative Level 3 Teaching Assistant or HLTA who is passionate about helping children overcome barriers and enjoy learning? Cover People are working with a welcoming Salford primary school seeking an experienced practitioner to lead a small group of KS2 pupils with challenging behaviour. The role: Plan and deliver English and Maths activities each morning Lead outdoor learning, sport and enrichment sessions each afternoon Create an engaging alternative curriculum suited to the pupils’ needs Build positive relationships and provide clear, consistent boundaries Help pupils develop their confidence, engagement and resilience ✅ You must have: A Level 3 Teaching Assistant or HLTA qualification Current Team Teach training – essential Experience supporting challenging behaviour or SEMH needs Confidence planning and leading learning independently An energetic, patient and positive approach Perfect for someone who enjoys: ⚽ Sport and physical activity Outdoor learning Creative and practical lessons Building meaningful relationships Finding new ways to engage pupils Interested?
