Our client is a technical industrial services company that helps its clients protect, and improve large industrial assets such as power stations, oil & gas facilities, shipyards, chemical plants, offshore platforms, defence sites, and construction projects.

Access Solutions - scaffolding, rope access, and elevated work platforms that allow workers to safely reach difficult areas.
Insulation - thermal, cryogenic, and acoustic insulation for energy efficiency, temperature control, and noise reduction.
Surface Protection - industrial painting, coating, corrosion prevention.
Purpose of the Role
To promote a positive health, safety, and environmental culture by ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, company policies, and industry standards while minimizing workplace risks.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct workplace inspections and safety audits.
* Identify hazards and carry out risk assessments.
* Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses.
* Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and safe systems of work.
* Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions.
* Monitor and report HSE performance metrics and KPIs.
* Support emergency preparedness and response planning.
* Liaise with regulatory authorities, clients, and contractors on HSE matters.
* Promote employee engagement in health, safety, and environmental initiatives.
* Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, and documentation.
* Assist in environmental management activities, including waste management and pollution prevention.
Required Qualifications
* Diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Professional certifications such as:
* NEBOSH General Certificate or Diploma
* IOSH Managing Safely or membership
* IEMA qualifications (desirable)
Essential Skills
* Strong understanding of risk assessment and hazard identification.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Investigation and problem-solving abilities.
* Attention to detail and report-writing skills.
* Ability to influence and engage employees at all levels.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HSE management systems.
