Teaching Assistant - Specialist SEN Schools
SEPTEMBER START
PortsmouthFull-Time | 8:30am - 3:30pm£14.25 an hour
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting passionate and reliable Teaching Assistants to work in specialist SEN/SEMH schools across Portsmouth.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a specialist setting, allowing you to provide meaningful, individualised support. You will work alongside a Teacher and other Teaching Assistants in every class.
The Role:
- Support students with SEN and SEMH needs on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Help manage behaviour and support emotional regulation
- Assist with learning activities tailored to individual needs
- Build positive relationships and support student development
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience working with children or young people (essential)
- Experience in SEN and/or SEMH
- Reliable, resilient, and confident in a classroom setting
- A proactive and positive attitude
