Site Manager – Trades Experience - 6 Month FTC

Location: Carlisle, Cumbria Job Type: 6 Month FTC Salary: Competitive (DOE) + Company Benefits About the Role We are recruiting for an experienced Finishing Foreman to join a busy construction team delivering high-quality commercial and residential projects across Carlisle and the surrounding area. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a background in brickwork, joinery or interior fit-out who takes pride in delivering projects to the highest standard. The successful candidate will oversee the finishing stages of construction, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and snag-free. Experience leading finishing works, particularly within joinery and fit-out, is commonly sought for this type of role. Key Responsibilities * Supervise all finishing trades on site. * Coordinate bricklayers, joiners, fit-out teams and subcontractors. * Manage snagging and quality inspections. * Ensure works are completed to programme and specification. * Maintain high standards of health and safety. * Liaise with Site Managers, Project Managers and clients. * Monitor materials, deliveries and workforce productivity. * Carry out site inspections and ensure excellent workmanship throughout the project. Requirements * Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman, Working Foreman or Site Supervisor. * Trade background in Brickwork, Joinery or Interior Fit-Out. * Strong understanding of finishing works and quality control. * Ability to read drawings and manage multiple trades. * SSSTS or SMSTS qualification preferred. * Valid CSCS Card. * First Aid qualification desirable. * Full UK Driving Licence
